Lovely deciduous tree with narrow pointed toothed 2-4” leaves. The fruits may be good raw, and make good preserves. Thrives on a wide range of soils. Self-fertile. More compact in growth than European and Japanese varieties. Seed kernels can be eaten raw. For any well-drained soil in full sun. Regular pruning unnecessary. 7 seeds per packet.
